Mackintosh X Save The Duck | SS22
For Spring/Summer 2022, we have collaborated with Save The Duck, the Italian brand specialising in 100% animal-free outerwear. The combination of the two brands' expertise and know-how has generated a Capsule Collection for the season, a perfect blend of both houses’ aesthetics.
The featured garments maintain the clean, classical lines that are the hallmark of the Mackintosh brand in combination with Save The Duck’s distinctive touch in using entirely recycled materials for the shells and fill, reinforcing its commitment to protecting the planet and the animals that live in it.
In accordance with the principles of eco-design, promoting their shared ideas and values that were brought to life from their desire to not only change the composition of the products on the market but the entire fashion system, steering it towards greater ecological integrity.
The collection consists of reversible puffer jackets for men and women. The garments’ linings are quilted in the “Save The Duck” style, a feature that makes them casual and versatile, with an innovative design theme made for the Italian brand that highlights Mackintosh’s British origins. The outerwear has distinctive horizontal stripes in alternating colours - white and green, white and blue - inspired by British sports jerseys.
