Aether x Mackintosh
This autumn, we are pleased to announce a new collaboration with LA-based adventure apparel brand AETHER. This highly protective, seam-sealed collection fuses our nearly 200-year legacy with AETHER’s unwavering commitment to functional durability, performance, and design.
The AETHER + Mackintosh collection is anchored by our intricate manufacturing process and AETHER’s unrivalled attention to premium design and function. Each jacket is handmade in the United Kingdom at our factory by a single skilled artisan from start to finish, creating a collection designed to stand the test of time.
The AETHER + Mackintosh Field Parka and Field Anorak are exactingly constructed using our hallmark seam-taped bonded cotton for complete waterproof protection. Both styles feature two-tone colour blocking, a practical three-piece drawstring hood with a brim, shaped cuffs, and a dropped hem.
Strategically positioned external and internal pockets prepare the wearer for adventure, and tactically placed ventilation maintains proper airflow. The jackets are finished with Velcro fastenings, webbing puller tabs at external patch pockets, and a co-branded external silicone patch. The Field Parka features a detachable lining with custom AETHER quilting. The lighter-weight Field Anorak comes unlined.
