To preserve the shape, structure and longevity of your Mackintosh men’s knitwear, we recommend folding rather than hanging your garments. Knitwear - especially pieces crafted from premium fibres such as merino wool or cashmere blends - is naturally more delicate and prone to stretching when suspended on a hanger for extended periods.
Hanging can cause the shoulders to lose their form and the fabric to elongate, particularly in heavier knits. Folding your knitwear gently and storing it flat in a drawer or on a shelf helps maintain its original silhouette and prevents unnecessary wear.
